H&M Ready, Set, Glow Palette Review + Swatches

H&M Ready, Set, Glow Palette
When I first saw preview pictures of the new H&M makeup collection, I fell in love. They've recently revamped their beauty department and released over 700 new products including cosmetics, hair and body products. Being the makeup addict I am, it was the beautifully packaged makeup that stood out to me the most. The simple sleek black, white and gold packaging with the slight Tom Ford vibe, it's basically the perfect Instagram friendly packaging!

My Everyday Autumn Makeup Look

Autumn is finally here, out come the scarves, ankle boots, excessive amounts of hot chocolate and vampy lipsticks. I love everything about Autumn (apart from the lack of natural lighting, dry skin and colds... ok we'll ignore those!). As the bright pink lipsticks and pastel nail polishes slowly start to disappear, in come the beautiful berries, burgundies, purples and reds. This makes me so happy! Today I wanted to share my current Autumn makeup routine that I've found myself wearing a lot lately.

The Brow Game Changers

Brows really are the in thing now. If you follow many beauty gurus on social media, I'm sure you've been hit with serious brow envy numerous times on the casual scroll through Instagram, and ended up just staring at the screen like "why can't I have her eyebrows?". It seems like the days of lusting over super thin overly plucked brows are long gone, with the spot light on the thick, full and natural "brows on fleek" type of brow.

My Favourite MAC Products

Stepping into a MAC store or heading over to the counter can be a very daunting task. With the endless amount of products on offer it's easy to get carried away with the swatching and before you know it you're buying a lipstick (or two) that you really didn't need. I remember the day I bought my first MAC lipstick, Viva Glam Nicki *sassy hair flick and booty shake*. I felt a million dollars, walking home with the MAC bag proudly in my hand. Those were the days.

10 Things I'd Tell My Younger Self

Well hello slightly awkward throwback pictures of me! Over the weekend I was looking back through old pictures, and it got me thinking "what would I tell my younger self if I could sit down and talk to her?". Would I change the way I done certain things or just leave it be? Well, I thought today I'd share some of the advice I would love to give my younger self...

Sephora Wishlist

I'm sat writing this post in my not so glamorous state (messy bun, dressing gown, face mask, chipped nails.. you get the drift). I was having a browse on the Sephora website to make myself feel a little more glamorous, and you know that feeling were you want to buy makeup but the bank balance says lol no? Well that's the situation. I thought I'd put all the items I've had my eyes on into a wishlist post so I can sob over the beauty items I want but can't afford... story of my life.

Worth The Price? By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock

By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock
So remember when I said that I'm daily blogging throughout September? Well on day 7 and 8 I failed. I didn't get a post up yesterday or the day before because I ended up in hospital after dislocating my hip and trapping a nerve. It wasn't the best experience, but the thing that annoyed me the most was the fact I missed my daily blog posts! But I'm back!

Today I'm talking about the beautiful By Terry Ombre Blackstar which I've mentioned in a couple of my posts now. I thought it was about time I got round to sharing my thoughts on it, and answering the question that put me off buying it for so long - is it really worth the price?

Too Faced Stardust By Vegas Nay Palette Review + Swatches

When I started seeing the Too Faced Star Dust palette pop up on various different social media accounts I fell in love. With me being in the UK, and this palette being exclusive to Ulta and, I was initially put off by the thought of import and custom fees... BUT (and a major but for all my UK beauties) Too Faced ship to the UK including any import and duty fees in the shipping cost, so you won't get greeted by the delivery guy with a bloody ridiculous fee to pay! Praise the makeup lords.

Contouring On A Budget | Collection Contour Kit

Contouring is all the rage these days, and with the increase of contouring comes a demand for contouring products, especially more purse friendly options. Whilst many drugstore brands offer contouring products, I've yet to come across a brand that have created a kit that really wins, or at least one that's replaced my love for the Anastasia Contour Kit. Collection have come in at a good time, and I think they've stole the show with this contour kit!

Lush Haul

It's been a while since I've bought anything from LUSH, so an order was well needed! I wanted to pick up a new face mask (LUSH masks are my faves) and before I knew it my basket had a few 'extra' items in, then before even considering it I checked out - typical Samm. LUSH are well loved by many people, and I can't resist the perfectly scented products they have to offer, plus who wants a normal bath when you can have a cutely coloured and heavenly scented one? Exactly.

My Favourite MAC Blushes

Give me lipsticks and pretty pink blushes and you've won over my heart, seriously. If I'm at a makeup counter, you'll probably find me at the blush stand with major heart eyed emoji eyes. Over the years I've grown quite the blush collection, with MAC being my favourites and most used. I remember buying my first one back from when they did the Wonder Woman collection (major throwback!) and it's been an ever-growing love since. Today I thought I'd share with you my top 3 MAC blushes as it may be helpful to someone on the market for one, or for fellow blush lovers just fancying a browse!

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm Review

Back at the beginning of the year I decided I needed to revamp my skincare routine, I just wasn't getting that 'wow' factor I wanted and I felt like my skin needed a change. A new cleanser was to top of my skincare priorities, and after lots of researching online and reading what felt like a million different reviews, I decided to go for the cult classic and well raved about Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm.

Goodbye August, Hello September

It doesn't feel like that long since I was gathering products to photograph for my July favourites, and now we're here in September! I'm so glad Summers coming to an end, I just don't get on with the heat. I love being in the sun when I'm on holiday and have nothing to do other than sit around a pool drinking cocktails, but when I'm at home and have things to get done, the heat just annoys me.

Autumn is my favourite - I love everything about Autumn, the clothes, makeup, cooler weather, hot chocolates, crisp mornings... I've even started adding some new bits to my Autumn wardrobe! September is also the time I start getting excited for Christmas, it won't be long till I'll have to start Christmas shopping! Gosh.
